Brass World Loses Two Icons

In July and December respectively the brass world lost two of it’s most cherished performers, Adolf “Bud” Herseth and Edward Kleinhammer. Both were members of the Chicago Symphony, Mr. Herseth 1948-2003 and Mr. Kleinhammer 1940-1985.

Both Bud and Ed set the standard for which brass players are measured today. They both had the greatest work ethic imaginable. At this time words are not sufficient to measure this loss to the brotherhood we love and embrace.
