The Chicago Symphony Brass Plays Strauss

This performance is taken from the legendary “Brass Buddies” concert in 2001 honoring Adolph “Bud” Herseth. It features Friedman’s arrangement of Richard Strauss’s monumental Alpine Symphony, played by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra brass section and conducted by Friedman.
